Get into the hotshop this holiday season and create your own pointed 'vintage style' ornament.

This one-hour class is the perfect introduction to the magic of working with molten glass. Working side-by-side with a highly skilled artist as your instructor, you will assist in creating a beautiful blown-glass vintage ornament.

Here’s how it works:

Come into the hot shop and the instructor will explain each step.
Choose your colours and assist the instructor as they gather and shape the molten glass.
With the instructor’s guidance, you’ll assist in shaping the piece using the foot pedal to inflate it with air. (For health and safety, we currently use an air system instead of blowing directly into the pipe.)
Finally, watch your vintage ornament get reheated, finished, and placed into the kiln to cool overnight.

When it’s not your turn, you can help out as needed or simply sit back and enjoy seeing each piece take shape. Perfect for those who want to dip their toe into the world of molten glass. Bring a friend and have a 'ball'!

molten glass needs to cool down slowly overnight in a controlled oven. You will be able to pick up your glass object on any subsequent Saturday between 1 pm and 3 pm.

This is a seasonal item typically offered during the holiday season, but it’s also available year-round in the (one)hour (two)gether (four)you class.
