Terms and Conditions
Submission of any registration form constitutes your acceptance of the payment method you chose and all terms and conditions in the registration policies, including the conditions of the Ottawa Glassblowing Co-op’s refund policy below.
In the event of unreasonable conduct, the Ottawa Glassblowing Co-op reserves the unconditional right to terminate a student’s enrolment in a course, class or private lesson, without refund.
Refund policy
For multi-week courses / workshops / group bookings / classes with visiting instructors:
- If you cancel 30 days or more before the first class: Full refund less $25.00 + HST administration fee.
- If you cancel 8-29 days before the first class: 50% refund less $25.00 + HST administration fee.
- If you cancel 7 days or less before the first class: No refund.
- Missed classes will not be refunded under any circumstances.
For all other single event classes:
- If you cancel 14 days or more before the first class: Full refund less $25 + HST administration fee.
- If you cancel 8-13 days before the first class: 50% refund less $25 + HST administration fee.
- If you cancel 7 days or less before the first class: No refund.
- Missed classes will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Refund Policy: If We Cancel
We reserve the right to cancel any class, course or workshop or replace any instructor. We may cancel a course if it doesn’t meet minimum enrolment within 7 days before the first class. If we cancel a course we will contact you to discuss placement in alternate courses, or a refund.
Rescheduling Policy

The Ottawa Glassblowing Co-operative (OGC) is committed to providing a flexible and fair rescheduling process while ensuring the sustainability of our programs. All rescheduling requests must be submitted via email and are subject to approval.
OGC reserves the right to request documentation to support rescheduling requests. Rescheduling is permitted once per booking, after which any additional requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to fees or denial at the discretion of the Cooperative.
OGC will respond to all rescheduling requests within 30 days of receipt.
Single-Session Classes / Workshops
Participants may transfer their booking to the same class / workshop on a different date, provided that an alternate date is available and has open spaces. Fees may apply (see below).
If rescheduling is not possible, participants may be eligible for a refund under the OGC Refund Policy.
Rescheduling Fees:

14+ days before the class / workshop: $25 + HST administration fee.

8 to 13 days before the class / workshop: $25 + HST administration fee + 25% of class / workshop fee.

7 days or less before the class / workshop: $25 + HST administration fee + 50% of class / workshop fee.
Multi-Session Classes / Workshops
For multi-week classes / workshops, OGC will make every effort to accommodate participants who miss a single class / workshop, but additional charges may apply.

Missed classes / workshops due to late arrivals or no-shows are not eligible for refunds.

Make-up sessions are not guaranteed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis based on instructor availability and scheduling constraints.
OGC Cancels a Class / Workshops

If OGC cancels a class / workshop, it will be rescheduled at no additional cost to the participant.

OGC reserves the right to reschedule a class / workshop without providing compensation to participants.

Participants will be notified by phone or email as soon as possible in the event of cancellations.
Late Arrival Policy

If a participant is late for a scheduled class / workshop, the total length of the session will be proportionally reduced.

Make-up sessions due to participant lateness are not guaranteed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis based on instructor availability and scheduling constraints.

If a participant is more than 10 minutes late for a one-hour class / workshop, the lesson may be canceled at the discretion of OGC, and no refund will be issued.
