GB3 - Bring on the Heat

This eight week course consists of alternating weeks of lessons and practice time. What you learn one week, you’ll have an opportunity to practice in a supervised setting the following week. Four lessons, four practice times.

GB3 will continue with the glassblowing techniques introduced in GB2. Possible topics include bitwork, different punty types, thinning the lip and trimming, use of colour powders and colour layering, more complex forms, sculpture work, use of the soffietta, intro to coldwork, how to design for production and best time management practices. 

• four : 4 hr lessons & four : 4 hr practice times
• $1219 + HST
• four students per course
• prerequisite: GB1 & GB2 (or equivalent)
• all materials supplied, must be 15 yrs old or older

Please note:

• The format for GB3 Oct2025 is two 4hr classes each week. Friday evening and then back at it the next morning (Saturday) for four weeks.
