Join us in the hotshop for a 1 hour glassblowing demonstration experience on your own, or with a friend. In this private session, work side-by-side a highly skilled artist as your instructor.

You will assist in creating up to 4 beautifully blown-glass forms of your choosing from the following options: ornament / friendship ball, apple, pumpkin, terrarium, oil lamp / bud vase or vintage ornament.

Here’s how it works:

• Come into the hot shop and the instructor will explain each step.
  

• Choose your colours and assist the instructor as they gather and shape the molten glass.
  

• With the instructor’s guidance, you’ll assist in shaping the piece using the foot pedal to inflate it with air. (For health and safety, we currently use an air system instead of blowing directly into the pipe.)
  

• Finally, watch your forms get reheated, finished, and placed into the kiln to cool overnight.

Once your glorious glass items have cooled, you can return on any subsequent Saturday from 1PM to 3PM to pick them up and take them home to display for all to admire or give as a gift.

"one place remaining" means the class is open for registration; a single registration can be made, which allows attendance for either one or two people
